Motion Graphics Skill Pack

A pack of Claude Code skills for launch videos, animated charts and short reels, made as code and rendered to MP4, starting with a brand intake step.

What it does

These skills are one author's workflows for motion graphics without After Effects. The first step collects your brand colours, fonts and logo so later videos stay on brand.

The author recommends a strong model; expect several feedback rounds.

Example prompts

  • "Run brand-intake for my company"
  • "Make a 20-second launch video for our new feature"
  • "Animate this bar chart for a LinkedIn post"

How to install

npx skills add charlie947/motion-graphics-skills

How to use it

Run the brand-intake skill first, then ask for a launch video or animated chart.

Check it works

Ask the assistant to list skills; brand-intake should appear.

Common problems

  • The assistant does not use the skill — skills load when a session starts — close the assistant, open it again in your project folder and ask again.
  • "command not found: ffmpeg" (or Playwright cannot start a browser) — the video tools are missing on your computer — install ffmpeg (on a Mac: brew install ffmpeg) and run npx playwright install chromium, then try again.

What to watch out for

  • Runs shell commands to render video
  • Edits files in your project
