Make AI text sound human

Humanizer

A skill that rewrites AI-sounding text so it reads like a person wrote it. It removes common signs of machine writing and keeps your meaning.

Works with
Claude Code, Codex CLI
Good for
Daily work and research, Everyone

What it does

AI writing has habits: long lists of three, vague praise, and stiff phrases. Readers notice these habits. Humanizer is a skill that finds them in your draft and rewrites them in a more natural voice.

The author based the checks on a public guide from Wikipedia editors about the signs of AI writing.

When to use it

  • A blog post or email draft that sounds flat.
  • A report that you wrote with AI help and now must polish.

How to use it

Install the plugin, paste your text, and ask for a rewrite. Compare the new text with the old one. Keep your own facts and numbers.

Limits

It is a text-only skill, so the risk is low. It is not a way to hide AI use. Follow the rules of your school, client or employer.

How to install

/plugin marketplace add blader/humanizer
/plugin install humanizer@humanizer
npx skills add blader/humanizer --global --agent codex

How to use it

Paste a draft and ask the agent to humanize it, or call the skill by name: /humanizer:humanizer. Read the result before you use it. The skill changes style, not facts.

What to watch out for

  • The skill only changes text. It does not run programs or read other files.
  • Rewriting can change small details. Check names, numbers and quotes in the new text.
  • Do not use it to hide AI use where a rule or a client asks you to say so.

How we tested it

We installed it on an empty test computer on 12 Oct 2026. Installed and started in a clean test system. Not yet used in a real AI session.

Test level

We did not run the skill on real text. We did not test the Codex or other agent installs.

Technical details of the test
Date
12 Oct 2026
Method
Installed the plugin with the Claude Code command line in a clean container with no account. The install worked and the plugin showed as enabled. The repository holds one skill file with a name and a description, and the plugin manifests are valid. The Codex line was not run.
