Cloudflare MCP servers
Cloudflare's remote MCP servers. The docs server needs no sign-in and answers questions about Cloudflare. Other servers can change your account.
- Works with
- Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI
- Good for
- Web developers, Build an app
What it does
What it is
The install command below is built from the official Claude Code docs. The README gives only the server address.
Cloudflare runs a group of remote MCP servers. A remote server runs on Cloudflare's computers, so you only add its web address to your agent.
This entry is about the docs server. It searches the Cloudflare documentation. It needs no account.
Who it helps
Anyone who builds on Cloudflare (Workers, Pages, DNS, R2) and wants answers from the current docs.
How to start
Add the address with the install command. Ask one Cloudflare question and check that the answer cites the docs.
Be careful
Only the docs server is read-only. The other servers can read and change your Cloudflare account after sign-in. Add those only when you understand each permission.
How to install
claude mcp add --transport http cloudflare-docs https://docs.mcp.cloudflare.com/mcpHow to use it
Add the docs server, then ask Cloudflare questions, for example "how do I add a custom domain to a Worker?". The agent searches the Cloudflare documentation instead of guessing.
What to watch out for
- The docs server is read-only and needs no sign-in. The other servers in the repository (for example the API server) need a Cloudflare sign-in and can change your live setup.
- Your questions go to Cloudflare's server.

How we tested it
We installed it on an empty test computer on 12 Oct 2026. Partly tested: installed in a clean test system, but its main features need an account or key we did not use.
Only the docs server was tested. The README lists other servers that need a Cloudflare account; they were not tested. The README gives only the server address. The install line is a command built from the official Claude Code docs. We did not call the search tool.
Technical details of the test
- Date
- 12 Oct 2026
- Method
- In a clean container with no account we sent the MCP initialize and tools/list requests over HTTP to https://docs.mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp. It answered with 2 tools (search_cloudflare_documentation and migrate_pages_to_workers_guide). We also registered it with claude mcp add --transport http, and claude mcp list reported it as connected.
