What it is

This is the quality and security group of the VoltAgent subagent catalogue. A subagent is a helper with its own instructions for one job.

The 18 helpers include a code reviewer, a security auditor, a QA expert, a test automator, a debugger, an accessibility tester, a performance engineer and compliance helpers.

Who it helps

Builders who want a checklist-driven review of their own app before they publish it.

Rules

Use the security helpers only on your own systems or with written permission.

Be careful

Helpers can edit files and run commands, depending on their tool list. Open the agent file first. Treat results as leads to verify.

How to install

$ claude plugin marketplace add VoltAgent/awesome-claude-code-subagents

$ claude plugin install voltagent-qa-sec

How to use it

Ask for a check on your own project and name the helper, for example "use the security-auditor to review this login code" or "use the accessibility-tester on this page".

What to watch out for

The pack includes a penetration-tester helper. Use it only on systems you own or may test in writing.
Most helpers can read files and some can run commands (Bash, Write, Edit). Check each helper's tool list before you use it.
Findings can be wrong. Check them by hand.

How we tested it

We installed it on an empty test computer on 12 Oct 2026. Installed and started in a clean test system. Not yet used in a real AI session.

Test level

We did not run any agent. We read one agent file (code-reviewer) to see its tool list; we did not read all 18.

Technical details of the test

Date: 12 Oct 2026
Method: Added the marketplace and installed voltagent-qa-sec with the Claude Code command line in a clean container with no account. The plugin showed as enabled and its folder held the agent files. The manifest lists 18 agents and all listed files exist.
